Development of Rubber Media Based Resistance Model for Sprint Runners in Riau

The aim of this study is to develop a rubber-based resistance training model for sprint athletes in Riau province by evaluating the efficacy increasing athletes' short distance running pace. research method used ADDIE's and development method, which consists five steps. Athletes from Province participated as test subjects. analysis, design, development, implementation, are first steps process. Three experts were present feasibility test: two athletic lecturers one national coach. model's was tested using 60-meter speed parameter involving 30 Province, 15 whom experimental group control group. difference results SPSS 22 showed that had an average 0.78 0.12. discrepancy derived results, expressed terms time, so shorter better. between groups' different values, or mean = 0.658, t-count 23.632, df 28, with p-value 0.000 < 0.05, indicates there substantial variations groups.
